OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus Metal Detector
See Underground Structures that Others Miss – with the OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus
The OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus is a powerful detection system that brings together 8 Operating Modes. Designed for archaeologists, professional treasure hunters and gold prospectors, it offers the flexibility to handle a wide range of search projects and environments.

The new 3D VLF Scan mode enables quick and efficient scanning before digging. Especially helpful in the field are the Mineral Scan for natural gold detection, the Tunnel Scan for identifying underground voids, and the Live Scan for immediate visual feedback during exploration. Combined with reknowned OKM operating modes like 3D Ground Scan, Magnetometer, Pinpointer, and VLF Metal Detection, the eXp 7000 adapts easily to different terrains.

3D Ground Scan
Detect underground structures and objects down to 25 m (82 ft) deep with the 3D Ground Scan. Scan results are displayed as a 3D visualization in Visualizer 3D Studio for detailed analysis.

Magnetometer
Magnetometer is ideal for cleaning the scan area of small ferrous items, such as nails, cans, and screws, that are near the surface, before starting a 3D Ground Scan.

Live Scan
Live Scan provides real-time visualization of underground anomalies and structures – now with 3D View or Top View for enhanced interpretation.

Mineral Scan
Mineral Scan detects natural gold deposits and mineralized zones in the ground. The new percentage display shows the potential amount of mineralized zones.

Tunnel Scan
Use Tunnel Scan to detect underground voids, tunnels, and cavities. Now with improved visualization for easier analysis.

Pinpointer
The trusted Pinpointer for accurate target localization – now enhanced with a new display of the scan line and current signal strength.

3D VLF Scan
The brand-new 3D VLF Scanallows scanning entire fields using VLF technology. The measurement data is saved for later 3D visualization and analysis in Visualizer 3D Studio.

VLF Metal Detection
Use VLF Metal Detection to locate near-surface metal objects like rings, coins, jewelry, and small artifacts.
Adaptable Scanning for Wide and Narrow Terrains
The OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus is engineered for maximum adaptability across various terrains – from vast, open landscapes and deserts to narrow spaces like caves, rock crevices, or forested slopes. In wide terrains, the detector can be equipped with the innovative SuperSense System X7, including the Super Sensor and up to four Extenders. This configuration activates seven sensor pairs simultaneously. As a result, users need fewer scan lines to cover large areas efficiently – saving time without compromising resolution.
Customized Super Sensor for Every Terrain
The 4 interchangeable Extenders offer flexible configuration options to match the scanning environment. Depending on the terrain and target area, users can attach two Extenders to one side or mount all four Extenders on both sides to set up the full SuperSense System X7. The OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus easily adapts to the surroundings, ensuring efficient scans in any setting, whether using only the Super Sensor or the complete SuperSense System.
Metal Detecting with VLF Technology
The OKM eXp 7000 Professional Plus features advanced Very Low Frequency (VLF) technology for detecting metal objects close to the surface. The VLF coil sends an electromagnetic field into the ground, which induces electrical currents in buried metals. These currents produce a secondary electromagnetic field that is picked up by the OKM eXp 7000 VLF metal detector. This technology is ideal for locating a wide range of metal items, including coins, jewelry, relics, militaria, and small artifacts – especially in shallow soil layers.
Smarter Metal Detecting with 3D VLF Scan
The brand-new mode 3D VLF Scan revolutionizes traditional metal detecting with VLF coils. Instead of interrupting the search to dig at every signal, users can now scan the entire area in one go — just like with a conventional 3D Ground Scan. Excavation is then focused only where the scan shows clear anomalies. This makes the search process faster, more efficient, and helps avoid unnecessary digging.
Treasure Detection with Metal Discrimination and Scan Profiles
The OKM eXp 7000 combines advanced VLF technology with intelligent scan profiles to deliver highly efficient metal detection. Valuable metals like gold and silver can be distinguished from less desirable targets such as iron or bronze, allowing users to focus on promising finds. Preset scan profiles help filter out unwanted signals and automatically adjust frequency settings for optimal performance. For more control, custom profiles can be created with user-defined frequency ranges — perfectly suited for varying ground conditions like mineralized soils, dry or wet sand, or areas with high scrap density.

The eXp 7000 VLF Metal Detection mode offers the innovative features Multi-Frequency, Target-ID Zonesas well as Pinpoint Modes.

Values in activated Target-ID zones are clearly visualized and indicated by an acoustic signal. The detected maximum value is also specified by the Target-ID.

Values in deactivated Target-ID zones are not blanked-out completely, but shown very slightly, to ensure that treasure hunters do not miss any potential targets.
Locate Natural Gold Deposits
The Mineral Scan is a proven detection technology for locating mineralized zones and natural gold deposits. The newly added percentage-based color distribution map shows how often each color appears in the scan, providing valuable clues about mineral distribution. This makes it easier to assess where gold deposits could be located. After completing the scan, gold prospectors can immediately see how promising the scan field is based on the color distribution.
